Today during Collaborate 16, a formal announcement went out that I’m super proud of. interRel sent out a press release about a new book that we’ve published: Look Smarter Than You Are with Enterprise Planning Cloud. This book, an introduction to EPM/BI cloud technologies and a comprehensive journey about Enterprise Planning Cloud (also still referred to as “PBCS”), is an achievement in the Oracle EPM Cloud world. It is the first published book that covers Oracle EPM/BI technologies. It combines technical information for beginners, users, and admins alike, with the usual humorous twist on the story plot that interRel is known for.

This book is the sum total work of four primary authors (Cathy Son, Tracy McMullen, Edward Roske, and myself), a couple of super knowledgeable content contributors, and several awesome editors and testers. It took months to complete, which included many long nights and weekends. It’s a testament to the term “team effort” and I’m so happy that this day is finally here! This has been one of the primary focuses of my new EPM Cloud Specialist role.

A huge thank you to interRel (especially Edward and Tracy) for offering me this amazing opportunity. Today, I count myself among several esteemed colleagues that hold the title of “book author”. Bucket list item and long-time career goal complete! 🙂
